POLICIES: Cancelling PatriotNet Services
This document is intended for use by users of PatriotNet. If you are a user of PatriotNet and have questions that are not answered here, please feel free to contact Support by calling (703) 691-8122 or by sending e-mail to support@patriot.net.
Except as specified by service contracts, PatriotNet services may be cancelled by sending a written cancellation request to PatriotNet 30 days in advance of the desired effective date of cancellation. Phone calls are not sufficient for this purpose.
All written cancellation requests must include the following information:
- Name
- Account username (PatriotNet e-mail address)
- Reason for cancelling
- Requested effective date of cancellation
- Services to cancel (dial-up access, domain hosting, etc.)
Written cancellation requests may be submitted to PatriotNet by any one of the following methods:
Written cancellation requests must include all of the information enumerated above.
This policy applies to all PatriotNet services, including DSL service, dial-up access accounts, and Web hosting accounts. This policy does not change or modify any terms of PatriotNet service contracts (such as DSL service contracts).
